My T300 wheel is detected as “FFB Racing Wheel” by my PC

The T300 racing wheel can sometimes be detected by the PC as "FFB Racing Wheel" instead of "T300 RS" (in the Game Controllers panel).

This situation can have several causes:

• the wheel's platform selection switch was set to PS4 instead of PS3. The T300 RS works on a PC only when the switch is set to PS3; if this is the case, unplug the wheel from the PC, move the switch to the PS3 position and plug it back to your PC;
• there is something on the computer that blocks the driver from being installed correctly. Usually this is an antivirus or some other piece of software that uses parts of the HID drivers that are also used by our wheel (such as Team Speak);
• if you have recently installed Windows 10 (as an upgrade from 7/ 8/ 8.1) AND the driver was already installed on the previous OS, this same issue can occur. The solution is to uninstall the driver, reboot the PC, reinstall it, plug the wheel when asked by the wizard and reboot the PC once more when the installation ends.

If this behavior persists, we recommend testing the wheel on a second PC (one that you don't use regularly, otherwise the same blocking software could be installed). If your situation is similar to the third one, have your wheel tested with a PC running an older Operating System (Windows 7, 8, 8.1), to confirm that it's fully functional.
