Normal / inverted pedal Mode: gas pedal no longer responds

KB 1792 - EN - 2024-08-30
Three pedal sets: T3PA Add-On ; T3PA Pro Add-On ; T-LCM Pedals ; T3PM Add-On

Two pedal sets: T2PA ; T2PM

Upgradable pedal set: Raceline Pedals LTE

This automated mode is available when your pedal set is connected to your racing wheel base via its RJ12 connector. The racing wheel base has two position modes: a normal mode and an inverted mode.
- On a three pedal set, inverted mode physically switches the gas pedal to the clutch pedal and vice versa. Inverted mode is useful for a Formula 1 cockpit (pedal set upside down).
- On a two pedal set, inverted mode makes the accelerator disappear because there is no clutch pedal.

The detection mode can be changed manually:
1- FFB Racing wheels (TMX ; T150 ; TX ; T-GT ; T-GT II ; TS-XW ; TS-PC)
2- T300
3- T128
4- T248
5- Direct Axial Drive : T598
6- Direct Drive: T818

1- Force feedback racing wheel bases: TMX ; T150 ; TX ; T-GT ; T-GT II ; TS-XW ; TS-PC

Connect your racing wheel base to your PC or game console and let it do its startup calibration. The MODE button LED should light up and display a color:
- Normal mode: Red
- Inverted mode : Green

To change the mode, press the MODE button for 2 seconds then release.

This process is detailed in the user manual for each racing wheel model on page 13.

2- T300

When the T300 starts up, its LED only indicates the platform (PC, PlayStation) it is connected to.

To change the mode, simultaneously press and hold the MODE, L3, and R3 buttons for 5 seconds, then release the buttons.
- Switching to INVERTED mode: Flashes five times after the procedure, then continuously flashes once every eight seconds.
- Switching to NORMAL mode: Flashes once after the procedure, then does not flash continuously.

This process is detailed in the user manual on page 17.

3- T128

The LEDs use a 4-color code.
- for a T2PM, T3PM or T3PA: press the Settings button 8 times in a row to restore the default position (all four LEDs light up).
- for a T-LCM: press and hold the Settings button for 5 seconds (the orange LED lights up).

This process is detailed in the user manual on pages 16, 17 and 18.

4- T248

When the T248 starts up, its LED only indicates the platform it is connected to.

Press the MODE button and, with the up/down arrows on the steering wheel, access PEDAL. Switch to FLOOR (normal) or INV (inverted) mode with the right/left arrows and validate by pressing the MODE button.

This process is detailed in the user manual on page 16.

5- Direct Axial Drive : T598

The inverted position is only available with a 3-pedal set.

If you are using a 3-pedal set, navigate the menu to find Pedal set configuration and verify if the position is correct.

This process is detailed in the user manual on page 110.

Note:
If you experience a pedal inversion with a Raceline Pedals LTE (2 pedals), check the jack connectors and make sure that G (Gas) and B (Brake) are connected to the correct pedal.

6- Direct Drive: T818

Connect your racing wheel base to the PC and let it do its startup calibration. The button 13 LED (in the middle of the menu panel on the side of the base) should light up and display a color:
- Normale mode: Red
- Inverted mode: Green

To change the mode, press and hold button 13 for 4 seconds then release the button.

This process is detailed in the user manual on page 63.
