The racing wheel base has two automated pedal set type detection modes: a normal mode (T3PA, T2PA, T3PM and T2PM) and a mode for the T-LCM Pedals. The T-LCM Pedals has a separate detection mode because it uses a Load Cell sensor in its brake pedal.
- If a pedal set without Load Cell (T3PA, T2PA, T3PM and T2PM) is used with T-LCM mode: the pedals will not reach 100% of their signal, generally between 40% and 80%.

The detection mode can be changed manually.

Connect your racing wheel base and let it do its startup calibration. The MODE button LED should flash:
- 1 or 2 times: normal mode (T3PA, T2PA, T3PM and T2PM)
- 10 times: T-LCM Pedals mode

To change the mode, simultaneously press and hold the MODE button and the left paddle shifter (downshift) for 2 seconds then release.

- 10 times: T-LCM Pedals mode

To change the mode, simultaneously press and hold the button 13 and the left paddle shifter (downshift) for 2 seconds then release.
This process is detailed in the user manual on pages 64 and 65.

Note about T248:
T248 automatically detects the pedal set you connect, it does not have a manual pedal set type mode. If you change the pedal set, just remember to restart your racing wheel or even unplug and reconnect the power.
