How to install SimTask FarmStick (Playstation) to play Farming Simulator 25 on PS5

This article shows the steps to make sure your SimTask FarmStick (Playstation) works with Farming Simulator 25 on PlayStation®5.

Important:
On PlayStation 5 consoles, SimTask FarmStick (Playstation) is compatible only with Farming Simulator 25 at the time of this publication. All current availabilities are listed on our website in Game Settings.
SimTask FarmStick (Playstation) must be used with a steering wheel.

1- Turn on your PlayStation®5 console and use your Steering wheel to enter your session

Important:
Do not use the Playstation gamepad (Dual Sense). Unplug it from the console.

- Make sure your steering wheel is in Playstation 5 mode
- Connect your Steering wheel to the USB on the Playstation 5 console
- Turn on the Playstation 5 console by using the power button on the console
- Press PS button on the steering wheel to validate your session.

2- Connect the SimTask FarmStick (Playstation) to the USB on the PlayStation 5 console

3- Check that the SimTask FarmStick (Playstation) is in PlayStation® mode

The Mode LED must light up orange 



If the mode LED lights up another colour, change the mode manually:
- Press and hold the "PlayStation® / PC mode" button on the back of the device (as shown in the picture below)



- Wait until mode LED flashes
- Press the button again to cycle through the colours and select orange
- Wait for the LED to stop flashing as it validates the mode

Important:
LED uses different colours.
- Orange applies to use SimTask FarmStick (Playstation) with a steering wheel on PlayStation 5 consoles.
- Red applies for future compatibilities on PlayStation 5 consoles.
- Green is for PC only.
- Blue is a default colour applied at the factory (it is not usable for playing).


4- Check that the SimTask FarmStick (Playstation) is in Right-handed mode

On device startup, the LED situated on the FarmStick grip must flash orange for 5 seconds.



If the grip LED flashes white, it means the FarmStick is in left-handed mode and it will not be recognized by the game.

To switch the SimTask FarmStick (Playstation) to right-handed mode
- Disconnect the FarmStick from the PlayStation 5 console
- Press and hold "R3" button (button 16 “Next” - orange highlighted below)



- Connect the FarmStick to the PlayStation 5 console while holding "R3" button
- The grip LED must flash orange
